How is that? Showing what is often confused in this site? Do you not want facts?
Regarding an unrelated, utter bullshit argument? No thanks.
Also the people arguing about the name of the neighborhood need a hobby too.

No, in Edgewood. Please don't buy into realtor hype by calling everything Brookland.
When this building was built about 100 years ago it was identified as Brookland. So while there may not be a consensus it's not realtor hype.
Plus even DC public records show it (as well as ITS address) as Brookland. I hate Brookland snobs.
Nope, incorrect. I live in Edgewood and don't like seeing its existence often erased.

And wasn't leadership academy aimed at problem kids?
I share these concerns. That's precisely why I avoided the Educational Campus models. I don't feel comfortable with my PKer with older kids even if they are separated. Wonder how that layout will be to ensure that there is no crossover between the two schools.

I'm as far away as Bloomingdale (oh sorry - should I say Eckington? Technically Bloomingdale doesn't exist on city records. I understand there's a nitpicker on this thread and I would hate to ruffle her tender feathers).
I think Lee's appeal will only increase with this announcement. (No, not "boosting" - we're not a Lee family - but I'm pleased for those who are.)
Kudos and good luck!
