Ah..it is 3k sq. feet and I just responded to someone about that before even seeing your post. We refer to it as a cabin because we previously had a small "cabin" on the lot but completely tore it down and rebuilt it. We are just in the habit of still calling it a cabin. It has one balcony off the master bedroom a deck, porch, large pantry, 4 bedrooms, sauna, 4 bathrooms, large kitchen, a great room, etc. it is not a small home by any means.

Different poster here. We have to hire a cleaner every time someone stays there, because the house miraculously does not clean itself; and no one will clean to the specs of the next renter - unless it is a proper cleaning company.

People have no effing common sense or consideration, really.

We don't rent it out. I clean it when I go or hire a cleaner.

You're doing them a favor . Beach rentals like yours rent for $10k a week in the high season. The least they can do is have them pay for cleaning.

I would not ask people who are there with you though. If they were good friends they would at least gift a bunch of bottles of wine.
