Ew I hope you aren't families at our school.

Where did you go? And what was the structure change you needed? I am asking as a parent of a child in the Lower school now, with some concerns.

+ The students call the teachers by their first names.

This doesn't make you down to earth, just makes kids learn they don't need to be respectful. This calling teachers by their first name is the soul reason we didn't look at this school.

The soul reason. Lol.

What? No credit for GDS' history of integration and commitment to social justice?

We spend 3 years at Norwood and loved it. We are a solidly middle class family. The only reason we changed schools is because I have a son and we felt he needed a different type of structure, but we all miss Norwood and that community.

This attitude reflects a very superficial understanding of the notion of respect.

Please consider Lowell School. I picked Lowell for my son because of the warm and loving environment. The teachers listen to the students and they specialize in supporting the students.

We have been there for 3 years now and we are very involved parents. All of the parents and teachers I have meet have very down to earth personalities. They are the kind of people you would hang out with to just have fun.

It's located in Upper NW off of 16th street.
