What do you mean by audience? That is what she chose to wear and i love it. Its not sexual, as it isnt a bikini. Very vintage.

I do struggle, as a woman, to understand what it means to Caitlyn (and others who transition) to feel like a woman, esp. with all the talk of "girls' nights out" and just talking about clothes, fashion, makeup, etc. I think part of accepting people as they are should be attempting not to promote gender stereotypes that might not have anything to do with the experiences other people have in their bodies and lives.

wow...this is NOTHING a therapist could fix because its not a mental health problem! wtf is wrong with you?

Anonymous wrote:Yes, as PP suggested, I am pretty sure you cannot undergo the needed surgeries without some very extensive therapy and work with a psychiatrist.

It is though. It is categorized as a dysphoria. Other dysphorias (body, limb etc) are treated with medication and intensive therapy with a great deal of success. Because the transgender issue was grouped in with LGBT issues it became something that had to be tolerated and accepted, instead of treated.
I am not the PP and I would never say things like "Gross. Sick. Wrong." I also don't care how people dress or present themselves, if they want to call themselves Caitlyn when their name is Bruce or Prince Vlad and wear fangs when their name is Frank. I do feel though we are treating gender dysphoria incorrectly.

That's true but the whole theme to me on his/her coming out TV special was that "this is me, the real me". That message is lost when you heavily Photoshop the images etc. It makes it come across as more of a media grab.

I guess the publicity is dying down.
He never said that, he said he wasn't releasing the name yet. Now he did.

But when we're not waving flags and using incorrect pronouns and so on, and are attached as "intolerant" and "judgemental," you'd better believe we're going to voice a differing opinion. So suck that up and get used to it.
So you can shout SHE and CAITLYN all you want, but you'll never keep me from stating the opposing viewpoint, sorry.
