Subject: What's your secret weapon "non recipe"
Block of cream cheese on a plate. Dump some fancy jelly over it. Crackers on the side.
I know this was more of a thing some years ago, but the sweet thing is nobody makes it anymore because they're tired of it (presumably ), BUT it always gets gobbled right up. So, I keep bringing it.

The carrot salad is very, very French. Although they serve it with raisins. Its sold at pretty much every take out joint and deli in Paris.

B&W Bean salad -- one can black beans, one can white, one container salsa fresca or fresh made mango salsa. Mix and serve.

Gazpacho:
Tomatoes, cukes, a red onion, a couple of garlic cloves, a pepper -- all goes into the blender until smooth. Put in fridge and serve alongside bowls of sour cream, croutons and prosciutto.

2 sheets of pastry dough put whatever you want in the middle (browned ground beef or lamb, cooked Chicken with veggies and a little condensed soup, goat cheese and spinach, cheese and garlic, chopped cooked veggies) baste top sheet with egg and bake.m

Frozen pound cake, cubed or torn
Ice cream, softened
Mix together, press into pan (I used a springform) and freeze. Ice cream cake! You could stir in chopped snickers or hot fudge or sprinkles, but it's decent without
