Can you do ham? I recognize those restrictions because I have GERD. I make split pea and leave out the onions. It does not aggravate my symptoms.

Anonymous wrote:It felt like a soup day when I woke up (dreary and rainy) but now it's warm and sunny. Oh well, I made soup anyway. This is delicious. I doubled the spices, added thyme, and mashed some of it for a thicker stew consistency.

What a delicious way to turn rotisserie chicken into chicken noodle soup?
-chicken
-celery
-onion?
-carrot
-broth (I use better than broth because it’s what I keep on hand)
-wife egg noodles
-salt and pepper
What else? And how much of each?
I’m going to the store or pick up chicken and the egg noodles. Anyone want to help?
A splash of lemon juice or white wine. What I do is serve the chicken one night and boil the carcass for broth, then make the soup with whatever meat is left over.
