+1, esp. Ginsberg.

This will prob. get worse -- she will end up a drug addict, part of a cult (if her commune isn't already one), or pregnant with a drug affected child. The irony is that her dad got away with much of her behavior while still maintaining his mainstream life.

Am I the only one who thinks the actress who plays Margaret/Marigold looks a lot like Lindsay Lohan?

In the 5/4 episode, for sure.

When Ginsburg was in Peggy's office, I noticed that the dress Peggy wore last week in Monolith was in a dry cleaning bag on the back of her door. That was a cute detail, but then Ginsburg gave her his "present". So gross!

If you page through their review of this episode, they include a portion of a prior review from last season talking about Ginsburg's mental instability (which might be the episode your DH was remembering).

Megan oozed of desperation. I mean a threesome to hold-on to your husband and he still hopped on the first flight home? Loved Don's Commander meeting sabotage. Felt sad for Bobby and Sally. It gave insight to the mind of a child in a tumultuous home (stress, "stomach aches," etc.). When is Betty's husband going to leave her? The nipple in the box was awful, sad and weird.

I read another one that said that the $1000 check that Megan wrote would be the equivalent of $6500 today. I didn't realize they were that loaded.

When they first sold the agency to the British agency Don cleared "just under a million" and I think that was around 1963-1964 so worth much more in today's dollars if you can imagine. He'd done well since he joined the agency but he's been very wealthy for a long time now.

Thanks PP!

Ugh - I'm really upset about Ginsberg, and I don't even like him that much ordinarily. At first I was thinking, he'll 'get better' and they'll bring him back before the end, but given mental healthcare available in 1970, it doesn't look good.

I also viewed Megan's actions as desperate to hold onto Don - first, running off the pg girl b/c she felt threatened (hence why the girl said to Megan that she and Don were never an item) - then orchestrating the 3some as a way to stimulate Don. But I don't get why she is acting this way at all - I thought she dumped Don an episode or two ago when he disclosed that he'd been put on leave at the agency (she kicked him out, sent him back to NY, and I thought the implication was that she and Don were over).

Btw Ginsburg is an awesome actor. I actually thought he had "come to his senses" and was acting normally in Peggy's office until she opened the present!!

Maybe because he was willing to fly out to see her immediately. And also she said something about really knowing his past. I think Megan's demeanor changed after that comment.

I kept thinking about Sharon Tate when the pregnant girl came over. I was sure someone was going to die.

What a strange episode last night. Don has a treesome, Peggy has to call an ambulance for Michael because he lost it. WOW
