Rachel started at 260 so she could have only got down to around 113 lbs. and still won but how was she to know.

Yeah but she didn't know what David's final weight would be. The girl is a competitor, she was in it to win it. She knows what she's doing. Give it 1-2 weeks, she will be at 115, her face will fill out and she will be doing her TV rounds.

Exactly. That is what I was trying to say when I posted the numbers. She couldn't have known. She was a competitive swimmer so she probably never lost that drive to win. Here is a link yo the percentage lost each season. Look under leader board. It really varies each season

You don't think she lost her "drive" when she allowed herself to balloon to 260 lbs?

Yes, she did. However, she got it back. I am an athlete and have let myself go in the past. Hashi's after my first born left me depressed and I ballooned and gained a lot of wieght and ate whatever I wanted. Once I started hitting the gym and eating right, my inner athlete and competitive nature came back with a vengence after about 4 months. It can happen.

She had exercise bulimia or anorexia, depending on her eating habits. I had it a few years ago, I was working outuo to 6 hours a day. It became an obsession and I got very mad when something interfered with my workouts. I almost didn't go on vacation with my family because I didn't want to be a way from my gym and equipment. I was obsessed with tracking everything on my heart rate monitor and on MyFitnessPal app. I wanted to burn 2000 calories a day to have a net negative of my caloric intake. It is so easy to fall into this trap. Her jawline and body hair says to me this is what is going on. It is all about control.

What I like about Alison is that she has curves. She isn't slim by classic tv/film standards.

She's slim but she has curves. She's slimmer than she was even a couple years ago.

I bet she gains some of her weight back on. She only became super thin for the money.

I wish her luck.

She's pretty chubby at that size 6(?) in the makeover comparison. She did well. This is what reality tv does- bring out the bad, conniving and unhealthy all for the $$. It's nearly criminal yet if you're dumb enough to starve yourself for the money, more power to you when hospitalized/death later on I guess.

I wish there were a contest for skinny people. I'm sure I could win the Biggest Loser but I would never get fat enough to be on the show in the first place. FWP.

She said she spent entire days on the treadmill, and took upwards of 4 classes a day...
