Too many other Metro accessible areas being built up. Developers have pulled their money and are investing else where. That is the Canary in the mine. Many houses over 1.25m are sitting and have no takers.
Snort.
Metro isn't a desirable amenity.

And yet, Arlington 22207 has the same average household income as McLean 22101 and higher than McLean 22102.
Facts speak. The census tracts in Arlington alongside McLean are higher income, younger, better educated. All this, despite half the lot sizes.
Feeling a little concerned about the future?

Not true. The census tract including country club hills and Arlingwood has higher home prices than any 22101 tract.

I say McLean is better because it borders Pimmit Hills and is closer to Mosaic than hippy-dippy Arlington
This thread is idiotic. I grew up in Langley Oaks and live in Arlington (barely) in CB Forest. No one - not my McLean neighbors two houses down or my Arlington neighbors one house down debates this idea. Heck the house two down actually sits on the line ... One kid goes to McLean, the other Yorktown. 6 and a half....
Trust me, they did think it in their head.

Dubai, Georgetown and the Upper East Side?
McLean mofo
Not really. The Average HHI on the Arlington side of the McLean/Arlington line is actually higher -- www.census.gov
Not really

According to the census both of you are wrong. Apparently 22101 and 22207 are more alike than you care to admit, Saudis or otherwise.
In fact Mean Family Income for both Zip Codes are virtually identical:
City Zip Mean Family
McLean 22101 $205,408.00
Arlington 22207 $200,642.00
What is mcLean 22102 compared to these ?
Again. Not relevant to ME. We make triple that and also in Arl 22201.
