White men do more than stare at my adult DD and myself. However, we are both visibly racially mixed. I'm guessing that makes them think we will be more comfortable with whites. Not necessarily true.

I was training a black co worker, many years ago, and we went to a office full of women. As soon as we hit the door we each said "did you see that one beautiful woman" as we continued to talk it became apparent that I was talking about a black woman and he a white woman. I always thought that was funny.
I eventually moved back to my home area with my mixed race daughter and she just started elementary school. It is scary how much attention she gets because of her exotic look. When people stare I always wounder if they are racist, pedophile or just curious of her background. Sadly, she told me last night that she doesn't like her brown skin.
