Go ahead, keep bullshitting, it's pretty obvious. Life in Iraq is horrible for regular, everyday people, the same people we were supposedly "liberating." So again, thousands of U.S. soldiers maimed, thousands killed, hundreds of thousands of Iraqis dead or displaced, billions of taxpayer dollars down the toilet, but I guess Kurds are less miserable? Yeah, that seems worth it.

Many more people died in the Iraq war and were displaced than they were under Saddam. Iraq's Christian population was decimated. Iraq is now a nightmare for everyone who lives there now because of sectarian violence. And who knows what would have happened if we left well enough alone? Iraq might have changed on its own. Saddam might have died in some other way. Again, we've lost hundreds of thousands of Iraqis, thousands of Americans, billions of American dollars, and in return we've gained... nothing.

What I recall Bush saying that was that we know he had them, that he used them against his own people, that he bragged that he still had them and would use them again, that he consistently messed with the inspectors, that he defied the UN, etc. etc. He was also concerned that Hussein would pass along information re: WMDs to terrorist organizations.

Which is why theClinton as well as Kerry also felt it was worth going into Iraq.
