I like "grown up" for kids, is "Where is your grown up?" Adult strikes me more of a descriptive term -- "adult" beverage, "adult" movie, etc.

This doesn't come up often, but when people pronounce cumin as "COOMIN" - it may very well be correct but it bothers the crap out of me.
