My guess would be that anyone putting their grandchild in a "daddy's little monkey" shirt probably wouldn't notice what your kid was wearing, let alone have any clue as to the brand name or price.
Yep. That would be me. Still trying to figure it out after six pages. Cute outfit for your DD though. I always thought clothes at these stores are too preppy for me. Anyways, my DD started rejecting my clothin choices for her beginning at 2 years, so although her jeans fit from the prior winter, she would have noting to do with them.

It's not ugly. The bottom is fine, the top is overdone.
Overdone? A white top with a embroidered strawberry on the corner is overdone? I just hope you're not the mom with the kid in spiderman Tshirt.
It's overdone (embroidery + fruit + elaborate shape), but especially so in combination with the bottom. If you combined it with jeans or some other dressed-down bottom, it would be better. The bottom is better.
And, no I am not a mom with the kid in Spiderman T-shirt though you are making too much of that. My kid in all likelihood is dressed better than yours (and more expensive, btw - I would rather pay full price a well-made piece that goes with a lot of different thing than buy loads of crap on sale).

Not to mention, as of today, the shirt is on sale for $18.99 and the bottoms $15.99, so I'm not sure how you got them so cheap. $35 is too much for a summer play outfit for me.

These outfits, like I said yesterday, are just toooooooooooooooo MATCHY-MATCHY!!!!!!!!!!!!! AGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They show no imaginatin or creativity at all!!!! They say, "I am bored to dip my toe into anything except the tried and true!!" "AGH!!" I say again, "AGH!!!"

I'm 9:15 - unfortunately, I'm too poor to send my boys to Landon (as illustrated by the fact I said I buy my kids' clothes at Target!). So, they'll be stuck going to public school and trying to eek out a successful life without their parents' money. I think being cheeky little monkeys may actually help them!

I'm 9:15 - unfortunately, I'm too poor to send my boys to Landon (as illustrated by the fact I said I buy my kids' clothes at Target!). OP here. Excuse me, those outfits are 100% cotton. I'm allergic to synthetic material so we all only wear cotton. And I cut the tags off of their clothes and mine. I don't like the tags either. We do have a few outfits from Carter's - their regular line and the cheaper ones they make for target and walmart. I'm sorry but I wash it all together and JJ comes out of the dryer like new, Carter's kind of but the T and W ones don't.
I thought you were big on reselling your kids' outgrown clothes, OP - no tags is usually a big no for consigning!
I actually think they won't let you do it with the tags cut out.
