I take European baths in between weekly showers.

I shower about every other day, but if it's once every two days no big deal. My hair never gets oily, it's very dry, so I can go a week without washing my hair and no one can tell the difference.

Me too! Gosh, I thought I was the only one Also if I do shower (which is rare because I refuse to pay for water) I wash my clothes in the shower with me.

I had oily skin when I was a teen and young adult. Now I have normal skin. I moisturize regularly, and shower everyday that I need to go somewhere, unless I showered just before bed the night before. However, I stay home a lot, and if I do not have anywhere to be, I don't bathe or shower unless I feel like it. I wash my pits, tits and privates, and use wipes on my ass after BM's, but if I don't actually shower o bathe, after day 2, my vagina stanks, even if I use a washcloth to wash it with. So if I were in a relationship, saw people everyday etc, I would definitely bathe every day. My hair no longer looks freaky and oily after 3-4 days like it did when I was younger, but it does perk up nicely if I wash it every day. Another reason I would bathe more if I left my home more often would be because I would be exposing myself to outside bacteria, and as someone said, flesh eating bacteria on a cut or sore can kill you.

No - I'm in the shower every-other-day crowd and I wish I had the ability to pack exercise into my schedule. I am amazed by people with young kids who work full time, still get to the gym, and have a healthy relationship with a spouse/significant other. It just blows my mind.

Agree with P&A, but why T? Of all the body parts, the never felt like a particularly dirty or smelly area.

Not the PP you're asking, but my guess is, because, if you have big Ts, you get boob sweat that needs to be washed off.

If you don't shower due to dry skin, you still need to use warm water and soap under arms, and privates. There's no excuse not to

Another reason to not shower too frequently: you should not shower after sun exposure in order to absorb vitamin D. http://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2009/05/12/shocking-update-sunshine-can-actually-decrease-your-vitamin-d-levels.aspx

"...However, the vitamin D3 that is formed is on the surface of your skin does not immediately penetrate into your bloodstream. It actually needs to be absorbed from the surface of your skin into your bloodstream.

The critical question then is: how long does it take the vitamin D3 to penetrate your skin and reach your bloodstream?

If you’re thinking about an hour or two, like I did until recently, you’re wrong. Because new evidence shows it takes up to 48 hours before you absorb the majority of the vitamin D that was generated by exposing your skin to the sun!

Therefore, if you shower with soap, you will simply wash away much of the vitamin D3 your skin generated, and decrease the benefits of your sun exposure. So to optimize your vitamin D level, you need to delay washing your body with soap for about two full days after sun exposure...."
