Your Ward is not my concern. I'm still giggling. Was I supposed to?

Sacrificing for the public good? I thought taxes were a responsibility for the public good.
I think public resources, like tax revenues, should be accessible to all citizens. Is this silly?
It is silly for you to spout that those of us living in Wards with a higher tax base should not have most of those taxes funneled back into their own Ward in the form of good and services. Perhaps you should move to Canada.
Anonymous wrote:Yes. But they've been tapped out by OOB and therefore a new school is necessary for W3.

How is it then inequitable to build another school in W3? Oh wait, I know. W3 tax dollars should be spent on improving schools in other Wards. Of course. Silly me (and over-entitled you).
Right, because the person arguing for excellent middle schools in every ward, not just for her own ward, is the Over-entitled one. Rather then whine abOut how your schools, which you admit are "better", are cluttered up with folks from oob (ah, quelle dommage!), you should fight to have those wards outside of your ward become the "better" school, or at least on par. Care to address your conceRns regarding that option, instead of continuing to whine about how tough it is to have a middLe school in your neighborhood that is superior to most other wards?
Anonymous wrote:Fact: The air of superiority and privilege that a parent brings to his or her child's social training outside the classroom is much more important than the school the child attends. It therefore appears that your child's social outcome will be bleak.
[Insert cliched or otherwise poorly written retort here. Yo mama raised a fool].
