my DS's scores are also around the same ranges
126 FSIQ with
VCI 132
PRI 115
WMI 123
PSI 112
GBRS: 8
planning to appeal, not sure if it's worth or not.
We also asked our psychologist to put the GAI on my child's score sheet. Her FSIQ is 132 and her GAI is 135. Not much difference but the GAI is the general ability index which uses the VCI and PRI scaled scores to calculate. I have read on some websites that the GAI score is geared more towards the actual gifted ability of the child. I am concerned about appealing with a FSIQ 132 and a GBRS of 9, but I have sealed the envelope and I am sending it today. We have decided what happens, happens and if she is still denied we will see what her 3rd grade teacher in gen ed says next year and if we need too we will try for 4th grade. Good luck!!!!
