I agree that often ALL sales people can be pushy whether in a mall or from direct sales but some of the complaints about the jewelry on this forum are slightly ridiculous. I own pieces from Tiffanys, David Yurman, Swarovski, etc. and if items are not GOLD which most pieces in the Stella&Dot collection do not claim to be will turn color if you don't take care of it (for example you cannot shower in it, which is also true for most jewelry). Also, any stone that is made out of CZ or crystal is typically glued on with a special epoxy to stay in the setting so these will often fall out if you wash them or wear them EVERY day. I do not work for Stella&Dot but just want people to understand that costume jewelry is just that, costume. They are not meant to be precious pieces to pass down to your children they are meant for fun, if the price points are too high for fun then don't purchase it.

PLEASE for the love of all things holy, STOP bothering your friends and acquaintances with this nonsense. Stylists and those with their own "businesses", know for certain that even those of your friends who say they are excited to come over to your show and shop are just being polite and are only trying to be supportive. They love you and your friendship, not the stuff you are hawking to them. The vast majority of people know where to go to buy jewelry, scrapbooking materials, charms, face creams, household cleaners, etc, etc, if they want and need it. Please just stop !
+1,000,000 I basically had to write off a SAHM friend (though now she would refer to herself as a stylist and not a SAHM) b/c I just couldn't take the sales pitches anymore. How many times can you invite the same set of women to a party to buy your crap? It's really infuriating.
