I am afraid "sodomy" is almost as prevalent in heterosexual marriages as homosexual relationships nowadays.

Perhaps some of you could take your crusade into straight people's bedrooms and see how much support you can whip up for your twisted little obsessive hatreds there?

No one is talking about "spiritual". This is all about the law. Are you aware that there is a difference?

Do you consider taxes to be your tithe, or is voting a sacrament? When you get a bill from the county for water and sewer, do you consider it a form of religious instruction? If not, then stop trying to make this about religion. It is not. Churches get to decide on their own who they marry and who they don't.

And in case you didn't notice, gay people already have the legal right to sex.

Excellent point. In Revelations, it's pretty clear that those who worship the anti-Christ actually *think* they're true Christians. That's why the call Satan 'The Deceiver'. These folks point their fingers at folks who have same-sex partners, or who occasionally curse, or what have you, but are fundamentally decent, and follow Jesus commandment to "love thy neighbor" in full--not just the few folks who happen to go to the same church, or some such lawyerly interpretation of scripture. On judgement day, when Jesus comes back, these guys are going to be in for the shock of their lives.
