So you could go in and they maybe didn’t have as broad a selection of shower curtains but they were really cute ones. And they dkdnt sell every brand of snacks but they had a bunch of really tasty ones.
They’ve sort of lost their way on that curating. As a result, I’m much less likely to shop there. Especially the clothes—it’s just much less likely that I walk in and end up with an impulse clothing purchase because I see it and am tempted.
Can we please retire all forms of the word “curate”? It’s gotten out of control.

I haven’t been in since they changed their DEI stance. That said, I have been listening to what their leadership has been saying and I find it remarkable that they refuse to acknowledge that their DEI stance played even a minor role in their low sales (Walmart and others experienced higher sales at the same time Target experienced lower sales, so you can’t necessarily blame tariffs and such).

Great, no, much better, yes, easy returns from the house, bonus.
I rarely buy myself anything at either but I do get my kids play/daycare clothing at both and Walmart’s stuff holds up a lot better and is cheaper. I don’t need it to do a whole lot, just stay decent for 6 months until they outgrow and Target’s stuff can barely do that.

The one closest to me is an unpleasant experience from the moment you pull into the parking garage -- everything is crowded, loud, aggressively lit, and messy. I went recently to buy extra Valentine's candy for a party I didn't realize my kid was having, and while I probably saved a few dollars over what I would have paid at Target, it wasn't worth it. Completely agree with you. Neither the Walmart at GA/MO or the one on Riggs Rd are pleasant experiences and they're inconvenient (for me) to boot.
