Does anyone think FCPS will have the buildings open Thursday and Friday? Since students are off, this would be the chance to get in extracurriculars at least.

If this is about equity I'm going to be very happy to vote these folks out one day. And yes, it's tax-payer funded daycare (not free) and it's necessary so that we can work.

You do realize EVERY county in the area closed for tomorrow, right?

Unless you’re a 12-month employee, in which case you have to report. But the 2 he delay means it’ll be 17F instead of 14F, which should make all the difference in the world.

Is Dr Reid and her vehicle stipend going to come plow my street tonight or ?

I think you’re right. They’re going to make a Herculean effort and put everyone in a bind just for a 5 hour day.

You mean 3 hour school day. There’s already an early release scheduled for tomorrow. If they do a 2 hour delay, that’d be 4 hours off total.

They’ll cancel the early release. Reid does this kind of thing.

Constantly making things up.

Right now, it doesn't look like we will have significant impact. The GFS gave us a lot of snow, but the Euro said zero, keeping it out to sea, and giving the majority of the snow to the beaches (and the fishes). Euro is the better model, so I'm inclined towards believing that this is not going to impact us.

Exactly. The GFS was still projecting 15 inches for this most recent storm 24-36 hours ahead of it arriving. There's no way the GFS is a trustable model at this point.
