Still waiting on folks like Kevin Chavous.

I'm not sure he's going to get a lot of sympathy from voters by whining about keeping families out of politics when he has been impugning Pinto's for months.

Exactly.

This part.

I don't care. I am happy that she is finally fighting back. He has been dragging her and saying she is a Republican knowing that she is not. He was playing dirty and now he wants everyone to feel sorry for him. Whatever. I fully support.

This- plus I just scanned the entire 67 pages and there really isnt anything there.

He's probably a little over leveraged financially with his house and personal debt, but so what?

Pretty pathetic by Pinto to print an internal oppo document online.

It was nice of Dyan Forrester to release her April 10 filing (on April 14) with the whopping $800 raised from DC residents and $86,000 cash on hand.

At Large candidate filings that were due April 10th

Lisa Raymond
https://fairelections.ocf.dc.gov/public/PublicReportSummary/5712
Cash on Hand: $175,000

Candace Nelson
https://fairelections.ocf.dc.gov/public/PublicReportSummary/5675
Cash on Hand: $57,000

Oye Owolewa
https://fairelections.ocf.dc.gov/public/PublicReportSummary/5675
Cash on Hand: $214,000

Greg Jackson
https://fairelections.ocf.dc.gov/public/PublicReportSummary/5667
Cash on Hand: $147,000

Jackson and Owolewa both filed on the 11th. None of the others STILL haven't filed. I am not sure how anyone can take these candidates who don't follow basic rules, seriously.

Ward 1 is well on its way to electing a Trojan Horse for the Socialists. A rich sorority girl who attended Vanderbilt and who will do little to help those that need help the most. Just like every other Third World save the peasants movement it uses their feelings of fear and disenfranchisement to gather support.

You’re being used.

Last night was the most recent filing deadline. It is shocking to me how many candidates simply don’t follow a basic deadline rule.

Kudos to Candace Nelson and Lisa Raymond for being the only two at-large democratic candidates to file in a timely manner.

Some of the at-large candidates...they conveniently omitted the ones who are not African-American.
