So call it whatever you want but they both got *demolished* by *this guy.* Think about that - their profile was so unappealing that *this guy* beat them. And the second time it wasn't even a race - it was called a week before the election inside both campaigns.
You don't have be in favor of him to see the pattern and perhaps think going for a three-peat is a bad idea.

Oh, and it was a *race* in 2024. (Harris's race). Yes, sadly, racism and sexism are enough to move the needle in elections. A sundowning liberal white guy defeated a sundowning insane criminal white guy in 2020.
Maybe "liberal" isn't the issue that drives people to Trump after all.

“Mistakes” are getting innocent people killed. If the price for a civilian making a mistake is illegal detention, injury, or death, then it needs to go both ways. ICE needs to be held to a higher standard, not a lower one.

Your grandparents weren't illegal. And green card is a privilege. Birthright citizenship TBD with this Supreme Court. Definitely some mistakes being made by ICE, but that is not the norm IMO.

This is bankrupting the local govt so it is a major problem
DP. I think she is supposed to defend the Constitution as long as Virginia is a part of the United States. That includes obeying US laws.
It is not the responsibility of the state government to enforce civil immigration laws. The agency that has hundreds of billions of dollars in funding needs to be doing that.
