Hands down the most on-target comment I’ve read in ages.
We are living in a timeline that requires our eyes to be wide open and fight for our constitutional rights-democracy. I have cut out MAGA friends and family because they are in a cult. A destructive hate filled cult and no one has time for that in their lives.

People who truly love their families and have had healthy, positive relationships with them do not totally cut off family members over politics. Maybe you grew up in a dysfunctional family but are blaming politicians for your dysfunction. For example, having a yearly visit with grandparents and staying at a motel will not damage children.
Being dysfunctional is a pre-requisite for being MAGA. It’s a cult of personality disordered people.
70 million voters are not personality disordered. Do you always make broad assumptions?
Oh yes they do. Look at you.
Not a chance. I'm a public school educator and voted for Harris. Just sick and tired of ignorant assumptions about large groups of people.
Why do you lump all Trump voters in with MAGA? Some people just stupidly voted for Trump and have regrets. But MAGA is a cult. And yes, they have major personality disorders. Being MAGA is a giant red flag for narcissism, domestic violence, and pedophilia.
I voted for Trump because he was a better option than Harris. I’m not a MAGA. I just (correctly, I might add) understood that he would be a better president, mostly owing to my being an actual, functioning adult during his first term, and being for the most part pleased with his performance. Harris seemed like she would just be a continuation of whoever was making the decisions for Biden, and I think we can all agree it was less than stellar, especially in light of the entire country being lied to about the severity of his decline. I voted for Trump because it was the correct choice, of the choices available to me.

Actually it’s hand down the best indicator that one is not a minority, probably straight and more likely than not a man.
Most people who don’t care about politics are those who aren’t oppressed by political policies.
Caring about politics should not mean allowing it to consume your life and relationships.

I agree. But when the politics result in policies that threaten the safety and welfare of a family member (e.g., LGBTQ or immigrant), I could see not wanting to subject them to that.
I feel that way (and so do many others) about liberal attys, judges, and policies that allow criminals to be arrested and released numerous times until they assault, rape, and/or murder an innocent victim.
OmG. How pathetically dumb are you?

It’s telling how your natural response to a post that makes a very legitimate point is make an ad hominem personal attack.
You do not present as an intelligent person.
