Had a top ten recruit go through the process a few years back. Multiple offers, did not commit till 2 weeks later after official visits were taken. Relax it is not a race to see who commits first, it is about ending up where you belong.

Those who commit first are not necessarily the best players. They're folks who got an offer from their dream school and acted without a visit. In fact, yesterday was the first day on campus visits were even allowed. Most A players will be on campus this weekend and the weeks to follow. The A+ players will field multiple offers over the next couple of weeks before making a decision.

Some Ivy schools do give money
If there is money for anything other than needs based at the Ivies, it is minimal compared to the money (various sources) provided to those same players at similar schools.

No they do not. They give need based financial aid but zero athletic scholarships.
