It’s only three for 09s at this point and one already played at Bethesda.

ML and NM had been fired but allowed to finish season. They were hired by BSC. They then reach out to at least 8 of the starting line up for FVU 2010 less than two weeks from the season starting and ask them to leave FVU and join BSC. That is flat out wrong on so many levels. No one is arguing the invited girls are not talented and deserve opportunities but this was an unprofessional shady move from two coaches bitter they were fired and wanting to punish FVU.
It makes little to no sense for most of those girls to even consider, factoring in beltway traffic and the flipped seasons between MD and VA. It only serves the coaches. Those 2 aren’t worth following, that’s for damn sure.
Didn’t NM win not one but two NCAA men’s soccer championships at JMU? That’s what his bio says…
NM was a club soccer player. He did not play ncaa.
NM says he won back to back NCAA DI championships here:

Nadir grew up playing competitive soccer in Northern Virginia with various top level teams (BRYC, VISTA, FPYC, Alexandria, and SYC). He went on to play club soccer at James Madison University where they won back to back NCAA DI National Championships.

Oh wow…waking up to some fun drama.
As someone that has coached against ML and NM for years, I couldn’t be happier players are following them!!
The only thing that was unprofessional and shady was how FVU handled the coaching announcements and treatment of these coaches.
I still can’t even believe the story of how it went down. ML told me that a week before tryouts, CW told numerous families that the coaches were returning and he gave the coaches verbal offers with finances included, and then ONE day before tryouts called the coaches and rescinded the offers without any explanation.
This heinous act was clearly intentional so the coaches couldn’t find other ECNL jobs in VA.
Every family should run from FVU as coaches talk so no decent coach will ever go there again. Also, I’m sure college coaches know the story so they won’t think highly of the club either especially since they have been working with those coaches for years.
You only have his side of what happened. There is definitely another side. It's best he was let go. And MYS nor GFR decided not to retain him either. That tea isn't spilled all over this board.
Ummm wrong! He is alive and well at GFR, coaching many teams and still the TD.
Running GFR as they fade into oblivion isn’t exactly a feather in the cap.
And which fvu team is so amazing? 6 garbage clubs forming into one giant turd blob of a soon to be defunct ecnl league.
You can crap on Valor, et al, but GFR won’t have any better options for the foreseeable future than to play RL against the FVU 6 pack. GFR should’ve made a move in the last 2 years, but looks like their leadership let them down.
Being apart of the worst boys ECNL club in the nation and soon to be on the girls side at FVU is not a flex. I’m sure GFR will be perfectly fine beating the six pack of rotten beer in RL. If their best players leave, it is no different then all these clubs in FVU. It is not like those clubs can brag or repost about all the boys commitments and under MV there will not be many girl commitments.

Does NM know that or does he think everyone is too stupid to know the difference? Discuss…

Is this true? 3 girls from BSC are leaving for FVU?

He does get their field space though. Bethesda families will love that commute to South Lakes, Herndon or Nike Park
