You realize it’s the store that chooses the pick up spots right? Because you sound confused. That is where the store needs the pick ups to park. They are numbered. It’s for an actual reason. That is how the system works.

The person whining is OP or haven’t you noticed. No one is saying don’t use the service. But you shouldn’t get angry when other people park in those spots because your laziness is not special.

It takes me less than 5 minutes to do a pickup. I exercise 7 days a week-I’m fine saving time shopping. It’s offered as a service for a reason-because people use it. And that’s why the spots are there.

I don’t think you know what the term “martyr” means because you are using it backwards. This has to be a joke, right? I used the pickup service once during covid and I was so embarrassed as the worker put the bag in my car. Just get the stuff delivered to your house if you can’t be bothered to walk into the store.

Ugh I’ve had it with constantly making room for other people. Everyone is so special and has the hardest life ever such that they need an accommodation for the smallest thing.

I work too hard to go to the store.

My kid is SN so everyone in the restaurant has to abide by yelling and running in the restaurant.

My kid is autistic so everyone on the plane has to listen to paw patrol on full blast.

I didn’t buy an aisle seat but someone needs to give theirs up so my family can sit together.

I’m not handicapped but someone I’m related to is so I can park here.

I didn’t bring my headphones so everyone at the DMV. An just listen to my speaker phone.

Lots of people are sick and tired of it. This is just another example of how “special” everyone is. Enough already.

Our Target has too many pick-up spaces for a regular Tuesday, but the right amount for the weekend before Christmas. They have had canvas sign “cozies” made that they can pull off or put on according to how busy they think the pick-up spaces will be. When the signs are covered, they’re regular spaces. Uncovered, they’re used for pick-up. Seems like a reasonable solution.
