My OJ went from 64 oz to 48. It's like a sip for my teenager now.
Side note, OJ is one of the most unhealthy things you can ingest. Tons of fructose and pesticides for just a tiny amount of Vit C.
Actually there are studies showing that among other things it improves the diversity of the gut microbiome. It’s not good if you’re diabetic but small quantities (like 4 ounces a day) otherwise can have some notable health benefits.

The best pie crusts use crisco. Ask my mother in law and my grandma.
Oh. Oh no... Lard, yes. butter yes. Crisco? Ooof. Crisco is easy, but there's no flavor.
Butter and vodka. That's the winner. No water. Vodka.
My MIL was not a great cook, but her pie crust was amazing. She used crisco.

However, they clearly have. And it’s going to get much worse.

Anonymous wrote:Mayonnaise is super expensive. Especially the namebrand I was able to get a local brand for like half the price. There are also some seriously small jars of mayonnaise on the shelf from Hellmann’s. I wonder if it’s that when that batch was made eggs were super high? I did get eggs for three dollars a dozen tonight. I paid about six dollars for 5 pounds of flour.

On tje one hand, they seem like they are judgemental about people living in small housing or buying cheaper products so I guess rich 94 UMC? On the other hand, they are buying massive quantities of flour to save a couple of bucks. This person should do an AMA—I want to know what their HHI is, what kind of stuff they splurge on. How many freezer chests they own, how many kids they have, where they grew up, etc.
I buy 50 lbs of rice and live in a small DC rowhouse. I do it because we eat a lot of rice, so I don’t want to constantly shop for it, and it’s cheaper in bulk. It doesn’t take much space at all, and it’s easy to store.
