Well I guess everyone is going to get tough because we’re certainly headed for hard times. And since Trump employees people based on who likes him most I won’t be surprised if those times include War, which I can tell you for certain Americans are certain unprepared to handle here at home.

What is that quote: hard times create strong men, strong men create good times, good times create weak men, weak men create hard times.

I often think of this idea. What I really want for my kids is that they become good, strong men (I only have boys but this applies to women too), not that they just live comfortable lives. Maybe it takes some hard times to accomplish this. This is what I tell myself to feel better.

Maybe it is not a coincidence that our world is such a disaster now. Most of our leaders are what, boomers, who in the above cycle, would be the weak men born of the good times brought about by the strong men of the greatest generation.
