I am not interested in ending up on some list. I might already end up on one due to my line of work. No need to tempt fate. I have children at home who need me to be around. If they were grown I might be more fearless.

Many Urban areas are essentially childless zones. It's a horrible place to raise a kid (everything is great if you have money though). Many dinks too. Don't forget the LGTBQ. It's annoying because all of these non-parental people get to vote for the school boards and what not. Move to the burbs.
Many urban areas are childless because women are ugly there and men have erectile dysfunction; the rest are LGTBQ....
Oh look, the banjo kid from Deliverance has some opinions.

Do you think we didn’t grow up in rural areas or never drive through them?
I grew up in MAGA land and everyone looks unhealthy and frumpy. Most people are overweight and dress terribly.

I’m just saying that on average, these protests w older and whiter than most and had more present and former federal bureaucrats than most. And that these post-election protests were less impressive to swing voters and flyover state voters than a real Democratic primary , a good Democratic candidate, and a popular Democratic policy platform would have been.
Oh, honey. You are MAGA, you just might be wrapped in Jill Stein clothing. Look at all those RW talking points you hit.
Look, by all left-wing logic Trump should have been kicked to the curb 60-40 or worse. He wasn't.
He was barely elected in 2016, and made an absolute hash of his first term.
What was the reason he won his second term?

Anonymous wrote:People, people. We all agree that Trump is bad and Democrats are good. But that doesn’t mean we’re in good shape right now. We shouldn’t get angry at facts. A few facts:
1) Voter turnout was not a problem for Biden and Harris. In 2020, the number of votes cast exceeded 95% of the number of registered voters. Crazy but true. Turnout is not a problem. (Although voter registration might be.)
2) Almost every Demographic shifted away from Democrats and toward Republicans in 2024.
3) The recent protests were, on average, older and whiter than most protests
4) Most Americans oppose illegal immigration, support deportations, and prefer Republican policies on immigration.
5) Most Americans support bans on biological males in girls’ locker rooms, and prefer Republican policies on this issue
6) According to Democratic pollster David Shor, in 2024, most voters trusted Republicans more than Democrats on most of the issues voters considered important. Notably, the extended Covid response under Biden completely erased Democrats’ previous trust advantage on education and health care.
None of these points are wrong or debatable. These are the givens. The question is, what should we do given the situation we’re in? Do we want to keep standing on certain unpopular principles even if it hurts us in elections? Do we want to adopt new policies more popular with voters? Should we focus on short term anti-Trumpism or long term election planning? Do we have any good candidates for 2028? Etc

Exactly. Still spinning a false narrative about the turnout too.
Lol. Why call something a false narrative when you could take two seconds to look on wikipedia and see that it’s a true narrative. If you talk like a know it all, accusing people of lying, you really shouldn’t substitute your feelings for easily available facts.
