You probably already know that Federal employees ALREADY have procedures in place for documenting their work and for communicating with their supervisors — and, in some cases, with the public. Why should they be required to communicate with an unelected despot and his team of doge boys? I doubt that anything similar to the Musk takeover would be accepted in most private enterprises.

I will be there along with my DH and 4 other family members and friends. I know at least 6 other colleagues and neighbors who are planning on attending as well.

Make some good signs and wear waterproof boots! Even if it isn't raining on Saturday, the Mall will be muddy.

Trump taketh away and Trump giveth. Less USAID funding is available to pay protestors, but laid off bureaucrats have more free time. The net effect will be neutral in terms of numbers of protests and protesters, but the protesters will be older and whiter.

It's probably because, like my dh, they already account for every 30 minutes of their time every single day in an already established HR system.

This 5 things email was performative. It's reported that the messages are now bouncing back because the email addresses for the 5 things are now full.

Looks like DOGE is firing a lot more people today who can now become full time protestors.

What they really need to see is voters voting for Democrats. That would scare them straight. But so far they don’t seem worried about it. I heard ine Republican strategist say that protests turn off voters. Bad memories of Democrats supporting BLM riots, lootings, burnings.

Protests are a time-honored tradition in a democracy. Remember MLJ Jr.? I was just at a Tesla Takedown event last weekend and plan to attend the April 5th event. These events let the world know that there is deep opposition among the American people to Trump’s presidency. Please come. If you can’t, call your members of Congress to express your views.
