They’re mad that we the American people are done funding their job programs.

What they really need to see is voters voting for Democrats. That would scare them straight. But so far they don’t seem worried about it. I heard ine Republican strategist say that protests turn off voters. Bad memories of Democrats supporting BLM riots, lootings, burnings.

The American people aren’t ready for all of our policies: on climate, migrants, trans folks, Zelensky, DEI, education, reparations, etc. We need to just stay the course, accept that it may take the voters a decade or more to catch up with our progress on these issues, and protest, loudly, about what the party in power is doing. This may not win us elections in the near term, but it will help us educate the electorate so we can win elections again in the long term.
