Heard the FDA attorneys were hit hard. Are any of them left?

Just reading this is enough to make me sick. I am just so sad and scared for our nation's health. I'm a laid off contractor from another agency.
Massive layoffs, purge of leadership underway at U.S. health agencies
Senior leaders at the National Institutes of Health, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and Food and Drug Administration have been put on administrative leave and some were offered reassignment to remote locations at the Indian Health Service. Meanwhile, federal employees have begun receiving layoff notices as part of a massive “reduction in force” at the Department of Health and Human Services, led by newly confirmed leader Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

True. I’m at HRSA and so many people were turned away this morning because their PIV cards were disabled. RIF letters went out at 5:15 am.

Do we have estimates on how many were impacted/RIF’d so far? Is there going to be another round?
From pages 1 and 2 up thread:
“As part of the 10,000 workers to be let go, the Trump administration plans to cut:
3,500 full-time employees from the Food and Drug Administration—or about 19% of the agency’s workforce
2,400 employees from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention—or about 18% of its workforce
1,200 employees from the National Institutes of Health—or about 6% of its workforce
300 employees from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services—or about 4% of its workforce”
Yes I’ve seen those quotas but how many Of todays RIFs are there? How will we know when they reach the 10k? Are there more RIFs coming after today?

What was the point of posting this?
1 out of 20 FDA employees are CC. The CC is officers only (no noncoms). Discount the FDA gs7s and 9s, and FDA’s ratio of CCs is far higher.
Were you aware?
Yes am aware but this is not just about FDA and CC appear to have been exempted, correct?
