The First Amendment does not permit you to trespass or vandalize.
Blah blah
He has been charged with anything
Hasn't
I know. That's the problem. Columbia let all of this illegal behavior go back when it was happening.
I agree that it appears he is being unlawfully detained at the moment. Does not mean he didn't commit crimes back then. He just wasn't charged with them. I can believe that he needs to leave the US and also believe is not being treated properly at the moment. Both things can be true.

Not sure what value a visitor who supports terrorism adds to our country.
He will go before an immigration judge and be deported to his home country. Not going to Guantanamo or anything.
Visitor? Do you know what "green card" means? LPR? Lawful permanent resident?
No they don't
Too stupid, but evidently they "don't have an issue with this."
DP. The stupidity of some of these posters is really starting to annoy me.

I wonder why this guy isn't in an Arab country engaging in his peaceful advocacy? Surely he'd find a more receptive audience in those environments than here, where we don't have a lot of sympathy for terror as a mechanism for political change.

If you are a foreign national allowed to live here lawfully, then stay like you are thankful to your host nation for allowing you to stay here legally and be gainfully employed. It seems this person was neither and was using his presence here to participate in rabble rousing by practicing his anti-semitist views. There are consequences to that. One of the key principles of what makes a good legal permenant resident worthy of becoming an American citizen eventually one day if they hope to do so, it to comply absolutely with all the laws of the land and try not to act like an American citizen before you qualified to become one.
I agree with all of this. But they can’t revoke his green card without due process. That is the current issue. They need to follow proper channels.
