Um no. It’s because he canceled all the brown ones saying we can’t have immigrants, but wait, white immigrants are ok. If he’d left other immigration in place and added these guys, that would have been fine. Instead he does the most racist thing possible.
One of his goons was quoted today saying the Afrikaners would “assimilate better than” other immigrants. Gee I wonder why? It’s not the language. Or the religion. It must be … hmm … oh yeah because they’re white and Trump thinks America is a fundamentally white country. And if it isn’t, he’ll work to make it so.

DP and I’m a Democrat. I agree they aren’t real refugees, but this is a curious thing for Democrats to harp on, given that there’s not much political will on the Democratic side to curb fake asylum applications for clearly ineligible Central Americans (wanting a better life or more economic opportunity or even fleeing gang violence is not the same as being persecuted by your government) coming over the border. Neither they nor these South African citizens are “real” refugees but I’d argue that at least the South Africans aren’t systemically cheating our immigration system.
True. The white SAs have Trump to do that for them.
