You just comment was gross.

Are your a man?

Nope, a mom. I wasn’t trying to be gross nor was that why I liked Bowdoin, but it was a genuine observation. I suspected at the time it might relate to their use of videos from applicants. It was striking to me. My kid didn’t apply - in part because the kids had a glossy polish and it didn’t seem like a fit.

A jewel for those who seek the liberal arts undergrad experience, in an idyllic setting for 4 years, with smart, dedicated faculty.

Is having political almuni really something to boast about these days? For those of you who were not aware, Bowdoin produced one of the finest soldiers and politicians to ever wear the uniform, Joshua Lawrence Chamberlain. If you don't know or care who this is, you are part of the problem,

Government is the historical standout. Bowdoin's environmental studies program isn't nearly as robust as Middlebury's.

Do they have any notable government alumni these days?

Can’t tell if you’re being sarcastic, but

Mayor Mamdani of NYC

Other LACs have state senators and governors. This seems pretty piss poor if that’s the best Bowdoin has.
