As of Nov 19, 2024, the average hourly pay for a Migrant Worker in California is $18.48 an hour. American citizens refuse this work because you work day starts at 4 am and work 10 or more hours a day, with overtime, and we with the sun beating down on them.

This is not cheap labor and you are ignorant and too stupid to Google migrant pay

Except it’s Trump voters in TX and CA that want the exemptions.

Libs don’t plan to stand in the way of this. We just don’t understand what MAGA is trying to accomplish.

Libs stand in the way by offering sanctuary cities and refusing to help with deportations. By doing so, Dems implicitly support modern day slavery.

Yes. It's reasonable for states not to want to be co-opted by the federal government.

President-elect Trump’s pick for “border czar,” Tom Homan, on Sunday threatened funding for states that refuse to cooperate in the federal government’s deportation plans.

Fox News’s Mark Levin, in an interview with Homan aired Sunday, said the border czar will have “a very, very powerful weapon that the Democrats, when they’re in power, use against Republican administrations, state and local, all the time: federal funding.”

“If you have a governor who says, ‘I’m not gonna cooperate. … I’m gonna block you,’ well, then, federal funds should be slashed to that state, and I mean hugely so, so the people of that state understand that the governor is the responsible party, that the mayor’s the responsible party,” Levin added.

Homan agreed with Levin, saying “that’s going to happen, I guarantee you,” adding that the president-elect “will do that.”

Homan said Sunday that Democrats needed to put aside their feelings about Trump and cooperate.

“I’ll say this: President Trump has made it clear, we’re going to prioritize public safety threats and national security threats right out of the gate [because] they pose the most danger to this country. What governor or mayor doesn’t want public safety threats and national security threats out of their neighborhoods, out of their communities?” Homan said Sunday.

“That’s their number one responsibility. So you can hate Trump all you want, but you gotta love your community more than you hate President Trump,” he added.

That’s what I can’t understand. Why don’t these governors want dangerous criminals out of their states/communities? It doesn’t make sense from a public safety standpoint at all.

How about Homan actually get confirmed and propose something and give state leaders a chance to analyze the proposal before assuming they won't get on board.

This is just Democrat bashing. Not surprising, but it's kind of sad.

Dems were the slaveholders. Once machinery and electricity came in, slaves were no longer advantageous so they moved into aborting babies for convenience. Now they enslave Hispanics to clean their toilets cheap.

Oprah would definitely have slaves if there was no electricity, internal combustion engine or machinery

They don't know either. They know nothing but parroting what Trump tells them. If tomorrow Trump hopped on Truth and sai mass deportions are a no go and terrible for the economy they would all agree no questions asked.

It’s not the Dems advocating for this, it’s the farmers. And I’m guessing most of them are not liberals? You guys really do project everything onto the libs even when it makes no sense.

Because the governors live in the land of reality. They live in productive states that employe the very people that the morons want to deport. They rely on their labor and leverage that to keep costs low so that we can all support the red state welfare queens. Texas is already figuring out what this is going to do to their economy.

Man, I thought that 2024 Civil War movie was a little bit far-fetched, but it’s starting to seem more realistic as the days go by.

Yes, because the illegals getting 2k/month debit cards and selling food and trinkets on the streets in NYC are vital for our economy and survival. Grow a brain.

? Do you think all illegals do that? You need to grow a brain.

Most of them work in farming, construction, janitorial services...

+1 and generally for GOP business owners.

Yep, TX construction companies are worried about the mass deportation as they rely on undocumented workers.

https://www.texasobserver.org/how-mass-deportations-would-devastate-texas/

Ha. And the CA MAGA farmers are hoping Trump will exempt them from the deportations.

Well, Trump is definitely going to show up in Texas. Texas helped give him a win and they want to see those deportation squads.

The funny thing is that the TX construction industry is begging Trump to not do deportations.

It was never about immigration. It was about sticking it to the libs and subduing women and minorities.

And the question is: what will MAGA do if the mass deportations don’t happen?

They will. We'll make sure of it.

Get in our way and we'll deal with you also. Furthermore, it won't be a political solution.

Unfortunately, I think this is what will happen.

The mass deportions won't happen. A few yahoos might try it on their own similar to Jan 6 and they will promptly be put down like the dogs they are.

The reality is these mass deportations aren't going to happen.
Tehy may succeed in rounding up a few criminals and getting some video of it to feed his rabbit base, but that's it.

Undoubdebly someone on Trump's team has gotten through to him that these deportations would tank the economy and impact his base such to make Trump very unpopular.

The "tough talk: is just pandering to his base so they can feel like they are owning the libs.

This is also the reason for the tariff talk as well. The mass deportations aren't going to happen, so Trump can still pretend to his base that he's tough by punishing Canada and Mexico with tariffs.

His base will eat it up, and will be okay with him crashing the economy because it's not his fault it's Canada and Mexico

Doesn’t take squads

Cut off all financial aid, shelter, food credits, schooling and free hospitals

Then use the IRS model on tax cheats.. random enforcement and make examples of those caught… freaking out the rest.

If they use the hospital then deport them upon release. Deport any that are arrested or ticketed.

Cut off federal aid to any local government that intentionally aids illegals

Cut off federal aid and tax exempt status to any non profit that aids illegals
