Talk to your BF or Bull. More than likely they are voting for Trump!
Your husband’s bf, not likely.

Will not vote for Trump, will not vote for Harris who will not even call for the US to abide by its own laws that prohibit sending weapons to parties committing war crimes and blocking humanitarian aid. Both parties are awful.
I'm completely disillusioned with our "democracy." It's actually rather freeing to feel this way. And pathetic to watch a bunch of people get all self-righteous about how horrible Trump is but who can't bring themselves to give two sh**ts about children being blown to bits and starved to death with US tax dollars.

You are trying to control something that you actually do not have control over. Your dh is being realistic. You are redirecting your anxiety about the election into anger at him. This is a you problem, not a him problem.
But then why do people do those things?

We have very little control over the outcome and things like canvassing only soothe your anxiety. They don’t actually do much.
Could not agree more. Everyone on DCUM with their panties in a wad about this when it doesn’t matter one bit. VA and MD are going for Harris whether you vote or not. But go on berating your husband for not canvassing.
Believe it or not most people in swing states are not obsessed about this. Politics is a passing conversation not people’s lives. Ironic because our votes might actually decide the election.
Looks like VA is coming into play. Trump is moving on from NC and into VA to campaign. If he wins VA it is over.

I love him but it’s infuriating. And for everyone saying all we can do is vote, that’s not true! Yes vote, but there are a lot of things you can do: donate, door knock, talk to undecided friends/family, sign up to text, volunteer on Election Day…
Your DH is likely voting for Trump and not telling you.

The amount of canvassing, non-stop ads, constant candidate visits in my swing state is so insane that everybody is sick of it all. Everyone has already picked their candidates anyway. I do think we’ll swing red this time, though.

Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Nope: crime is down, not up. The other two issues were exacerbated by Trump era policies that we are still dealing with.
How can people spout this nonsense.
Because no one fact-checks the left.
And when they do (like during the debate where Miur “fact-checked” Trump on this) and then a week later when the FBI says “oops our stats were wrong, crime did actually go up”—-they correct it quietly with a footnote that no one sees unless they are consuming “conservative” media.
Go ahead, Google it, PP. Crime is UP and FBI confirmed it.
We won’t hold our breath for an apology.
