Biden-Harris are actively looking for a cease fire and a two-state solution. They are also trying to get aid into Gaza.
Trump supports Netanyahu's push to simply eradicate the Palestinians in Gaza all together (finish the job) and we also know Jared owns the rights to develop new beachfront property in Gaza.
If Biden and Harris have not been able to arrange a ceasefire in a year, they are either incompetent or they are not really trying. As a result, either by design or incompetence, they are allowing Netanyahu to simply eradicate the Palestinians (have you been paying attention to the current expulsion of all Palestinians from northern Gaza?) and, if not Jared, someone else will soon be developing Gaza's beach front property.
Jeff, have you missed all of the admission that Trump has been interfering in this?
The fact that Netanyahu was willing to sink Biden's, and by extension Harris', political future has been obvious from day one. The fact that Biden and Harris have not acted accordingly is sheer incompetence and suggests that they may not be all that upset about what is happening.
If you have read any of my blog posts about the Middle East situation, you will know that I firmly believe that Netanyahu has personal motivations to continue the war infinitely. If I am correct, Netanyahu doesn't need Trump's encouragement. He would be acting the same regardless. The failure is by Biden and Harris is agreeing to pursue Netanyahu's interests instead of their own.
We agree on everything but....what exactly could Biden do differently to bring a cease fire if Netanyahu was never going to agree to one? and particularly when Trump is providing promises and a ballast to the global pressure Netanyahu was/is otherwise facing?
Biden leads the government of the most powerful country in the world. I refuse to believe that he is powerless against the leader of a country that is completely beholden to us. Ask yourself what Trump would do if he wanted a ceasefire? Would he also be powerless? Biden could have just stopped weapons shipments until Netanyahu agreed with his demands. Biden would have to be prepared to withstand the domestic backlash, but once he became a lame duck that shouldn't have been hard. What does he have to lose?
For better or worse, Trump used his social media platform even while President for a reason. It’s an effective way to use the bully pulpit and he’s used it to force Republicans to support IVF in Alabama and for Republicans to not defund Social Security or Medicare during debt ceiling talks last year. President Biden didn’t even call Republicans to stop that. He forced Republicans to support Bernie Sanders proposal to negotiate for cheaper generic drugs from Canada
Trump’s greatest asset is his bipartisan mentality which is why hyper partisans in the media and industries like Big Pharma that fund cable news dislike him.
His language may be foul, but he knows how to get his message across and he called Netanyahu out before for the Suleimani strike which Netanyahu nervously denied.
When it comes to stopping the war and forcing Netanyahu to stop dragging out ceasefire talks, Trump has a far stronger chance than Kamala at making Netanyahu listen to the US. Trump is unstable and has a rabid base that nobody (not Iran, not Israel, not Hamas) wants to get the wrath of

Biden is not looking for a ceasefire. There have been no ceasefire negotiations since the Israelis killed the Hamas negotiator. Reports said the Hezbollah leader agreed to a 21 day ceasefire and then was killed by Israel. Biden-Harris are only talking to the Israelis not Hamas or Hezbollah. How can you negotiate a ceasefire with only one of the parties involved? Biden also encouraged Israel to invade Lebanon privately while publicly discouraging it.
There is no two state solution because Israel refuses to recognize the Palestinians right to exist. Trump and Biden/Harris are the same with regards to the actions and policies for Israel. Biden talks about freedom, western values, sovereign borders, not bombing civilians, free press, the right to assemble, the freedom to protest, etc but by his actions show he does not believe that applies to Palestinians, Arabs, Muslims or anyone who criticizes Israel.
He has effectively created a two class system. Israeli and American Jewish are elevated above all others. Look at some of the examples- Americans college students were arrested for criticizing Israel, Ivy League presidents removed by false accusations of antisemitism and not being pro Israeli and Israelis kill Americans in the West Bank with impunity. Biden would not meet with Arab voters in Michigan. Why should these voters support Harris? So the status quo can continue? Biden and the democrats have shown how they view these voters. These voters are unimportant and should know their place. In a democracy you have to win the votes.
Republicans are happy with the situation in the Middle East and frankly would like to see a lot more killing of Palestinians, Iranians and even Israel(white Christian Nationalists). Democrats are about western values, democracy, free speech, protecting civilians, stopping wars, etc. Many democrats want the killing to stop and the Palestinians treated fairly.
Biden-Harris should be more consistent and less of hypocrites. Take the Ukraine Russia war. Biden-Harris to be consistent with the policies and values express by the administration’s actions in Israel should be supporting Russia. To a much lesser extent, the Russians have been doing what the Israelis are doing.
I hope Harris wins but the only difference between Harris and Trump on Israel is the talk. The actions will be the same. I do not blame the voters of Michigan. I blame Biden for not compromising.

an election to Trump
Biden is not the candidate. Harris can scream at him all she wants about restarting the arms.
