+1 It’s long been obvious that Gabbard was only a Democrat because you have to be one to be elected in Hawaii. Which promptly dumped her as soon as she made that obvious mere months after they elected her.

She is a longstanding homophobe (her religious cult is extremely homophobic) who received millions in outside money to fund her congressional campaign. She is very unpopular in her home state of Hawaii. Her father is a homophobic Republican-turned-Democratic legislator. They are all very weird.

SIF has been described as a "cult" and denounced for being homophobic and misogynistic.
