Biden is old school. Bless him.
Same here. I bawled. I feel safe in Biden’s America. He is a special person - humble, kind, authentic, warm, wise, and a unifier. His age provided wisdom. I will truly miss him in the White House and political landscape. God bless him.

I don't see how you could dislike that, regardless of party affiliation. An appreciation of the blessings he received to go from Scranton to the oval, a love of this country, a look to the future. Truly a beautiful encapsulation of what the country was built on.
He never explained why he was dropping out of the race, after winning all the primaries.
Of course he did. Did you actually listen to his address tonight?
He said what he did merited a second term, but for the good of the country he wouldn't seek it.
We know the answer, but he never gave an explanation.
Because we know the answer. He doesn’t have to state the obvious.
Then why give an address at all? And if it's the reason we all know, how does he justify not resigning?

And am fired up for Harris!

Did your mother ever tell you that if you can't say something nice then just keep quiet. He put his country first. This is the act of a patriot
DP. Just stop. You slobbering all over this egotistical old man who had to be forced out is beyond cringeworthy.
Also - how many nasty comments have you made about Trump? And yet, you sanctimoniously lecture others about “saying something nice.”![]()

But Biden’s actions ultimately were selfless. He is stepping down. He has acted for the greater good throughout his presidency. I’m sorry you can’t see this, but Biden, and Obama before him, have extended the hand to Republicans, over and over again.
You can’t actually be pretending to yourself that had high-level Democrats not been forcing him to withdraw, he would have done so on his own? As late as just a few days ago, he was adamant that he would NOT be withdrawing and was extremely testy and rude to anyone who asked him about it. A selfless person would have made this decision a year ago. We all know this, but the gaslighting is now just part of the left’s MO.
No. It’s letting someone who has done an enormous amount for our party and the country for his entire life (and during times of enormous personal tragedy) leave with as much dignity as possible.
Imagine how much dignity he could have left with a year ago - or even a few months ago - had he voluntarily decided not to run again and given the DNC all the time they needed to vote on new candidates. That would indeed have been dignified and praise-worthy. Alas, that's not what happened.

Let's see if I can find Dominic's today about trump. I thought about it and the man has no redeeming qualities. He lies, he is a serial adulterer, cheats people he owes money, a convicted felon, convicted of sexual assault which every woman on earth would consider rape.
