haha, my weary soul is restored by this amazingly hilarious thread. I can’t stop laughing about Vance and his couch, it’s brought new meaning to my life. Thank you Jeff, for allowing us to keep this whimsical and inspiring thread as a testament to the power of laughter in one’s life. Btw, Vance will never be vp; Trumpelstiltskin is going to drop him soon. He’s a horrible person and politician and I am not worried or scared of his possible ascension into the WH. The rumor, it turns out, was first posted on July 15, the same day Trump announced Vance as his vice presidential pick, by X user @rickrudescalves.

The user later protected his account and, according to Snopes, an internet misinformation watchdog, indicated that the post was nonsense by sharing a meme that read: “You really think someone would do that, just go on the internet and tell lies?”

By Thursday morning, the article had been taken down from the outlet’s website entirely – the URL diverting to read “Page Unavailable.”

I googled, and AI said the results are rapidly changing.
