NP. The only person I know who makes this kind of statement is my mom. She's incredibly snobby yet very unsophisticated. So we'd go to a restaurant, and she'd make this kind of statement and criticize everything about the experience. In short, she saps the simple pleasure of eating out.

So yeah, if someone who's usually hypercritical and fussy makes this statement, I'd be wary of them ruining the restaurant experience.
