The reality is, Trump as an authoritarian can legally just take your family's assets and then you will be living in a cardboard box. "but he is old" will be the same mantra as "but her emails" except this time the stakes are higher. Don’t know about that. I’m an independent. The debate was a debacle for both parties. It was just that Biden’s performance was more of a surprise. He was fine at the SOTU.

But from my perspective, the Democratic Party’s response to Biden’s performance has given me a measure of cautious optimism. It’s not easy to admit to a mistake and try to rectify it. That’s an admirable quality in leadership.

We’ll see how things develop, but the GOP is bringing nothing new to the table. Trump is a whiny, aggrieved loser with plans that will crater our economy.
