The whole exchange was entirely inappropriate for legislators of any nation.

What you, and most others on here don't seem to understand is that Crockett's reaction was the House committee's Republican suspension of rules of decorum in place for nearly 200 years. MTG insulted Crockett personally. This is against House rules. Then the Republican chair of the committee had a vote on whether to strike her words, and every Republican voted to keep them, saving MTG's time on the clock, and going against the long-standing tradition of personal attacks being stricken and against the rules. Crockett's response was to THIS. It wasn't an overreaction.

Anonymous wrote:They all were embarrassing to watch. It was disappointing and none retained dignity or gravitas. For the record, I wouldn’t hire someone with lashes like that, but the comment was inappropriate. Yet after hearing the response, not going to hire someone with lashes like still. It was like listening to a school bully and a street thug.

Cue the tears and outrage about how she is being attacked after she started it. You all would be funny if you weren't so predictable.
MTG is getting trolled in public now with this phrase and I hope it continues. It is what she deserves.
