there is research that says 10% of the population looks 10 years younger than their age and I am one of those people and so is my mother and my grandmother who just passed away at 96 and looked liked she was in her late 70s.

Very true. I am 42 and younger men tell me I don't look a day over 21. My mother also is 65 and has no wrinkles. So i get away with dating younger men and I often look younger than those younger men as well

I’m the same age. Younger men and women say the same to me. Hate to break it to you, but they’re lying. You look youthful, but you don’t look 21.

When I was 40, I looked my absolute best and I was a mom of 3. I don’t think I looked 21 but I could easily pass as 30.

I am now 46 and wow, I feel pretty told now. I move slower. I’m tired. I have aches and pains. DH said 43 is when people start to no longer feel young.

I dont doubt the 42yo looks younger, especially if she is single and taking good care of yourself. But 50 is a long way from 42. Even the most beautiful celebrities can’t fight age in their fifties.

I looked my best at 42. I am 46. I don’t feel any different. I don’t look quite as good but everyone thinks I am in my 30s. They are shocked when I tell them my age. I date 27-36 usually.

Most people are not mean. They act shock for an act don't get it twisted. It's human nature to be kind to someone and say kind things that make them look good. So in reality they may think you really look 50 but they will tell you that you look 30 to make you feel good. And that's good take the compliment. Aging is part of life. The most important thing is to enjoy life everyday you are alive.

People accuse me of being too young for my job and then I tell them my age and they shut up.

My grandmother looked between 37 and 40 when she was 50 and the same with my mother. When I was I was 25. I was getting carded for buying a lot lotto ticket because they didn’t believe that I was over 18. When I was 32, I looked 22.

I still don’t have wrinkles. My mom is 71 but could pass for late 50s.

there is research that says 10% of the population looks 10 years younger than their age and I am one of those people and so is my mother and my grandmother who just passed away at 96 and looked liked she was in her late 70s.

In some cases, people are just being nice, but in my case, my appearance has actually caused me professional problems because people assume that I am much younger than I am.

I don’t know why people assume people are lying when they say they look younger. Some people do.

I look about 35, in my opinion, but people have said younger. I can pass for 35 easily. My cousin is 34…I look younger than she does.

Ok I’m the 38 above. I believe you look younger. I do. Cool. Within 10 years. I work in a superficial job with 20 year olds. I got the job because of my looks. My husband even said I’m competing at that level.

But you are not younger. That’s the point. You are not about to have kids at 46, your demeanor is different, but it’s not a bad thing. A 19 year old I work with thought her mom was going to menopause at 42. lol This is how the young ones think.

And I don’t the threshold yet because I’m not there. But no one is lusting after 50 year olds over 20 year olds. Or prefer sexually. Maybe as a « package »

This point wasn’t about that though. People can find love at any age. Even women just steer clear of men wanting youth because they don’t want to commit. That’s it.

I never said I was younger. I said I look younger. I can compete a 30-year-old any day of the week. I am not 50 yet. At 50, I will still be able to compete with 35 for men's attention.

Tell that to the men ages 27-46 chasing me. I won't go higher than that. If I could put a photo up here, I would. Zero wrinkles. Not one. hourglass shape. No sagging. I look better than most early 30s women now at 46. I am not going to suddenly have a sharp decline in 3.5 years.

You can post a photo. It’s been done. Imgur among others. No one is chasing you for marriage and kids. Just committed sex. We are waiting.

They must be very unattractive themselves (?) to completely disregard the possibility of sexy older ladies. Why they dont get that if you havent drunk, smoked and burned in the sun, plus stay super fit, you are going to look really good esp if naturally pretty.
