What used to be called “boy scouts of America” is now co-ed and has changed its name to Scouts-BSA.
Why then, can’t boys join Girl Scouts ?

R. Boy Scouts of America became coed for their own reasons, primarily for dropping participation numbers therefore they needed to open to girls to survive. Girl Scouts is not in that situation, and is a separate private organization, so is not pursuing that.
This idea that everything must be open to everyone is really ridiculous. Are you complaining that your neurotypical child can't compete in the Special Olympics? Why not? People with intellectual disabilities can participate in standard sports teams. Isn't it a double standard and exclusive? (Obviously I'm being sarcastic, but my point stands that not every thing is meant for everybody and that's okay).
