It's New Mexico cuisine. That is not "Americanized Mexican" and it is not "Tex-Mex."
You do realize that New Mexico is in America, right?
You do realize that New Mexico cuisine isn't Tex-Mex, or Mexican, right?
That’s cute that you think anyone in the DC metro (including current Anita’s) gives a crap about “New Mexican” cuisine. Neat. I bet there are “Idaho Cuisine” super fans out there too. Good for them and for you. Love a fandom.

Yup
You guys just have such an advanced palette and such elevated tastes, I’m incredibly fortunate to even post on the same anonymous message board as you. Wow.
Let me guess, everything in NYC is delectable right? Or is it Paris? Or are you going to go for a really deep reach and just say nothing can compare to the delicacies you enjoyed on your study abroad in Johannesburg or Delhi? Which way are you going to play this?
Palate.
You’re aware of autocorrect or do you have your head too far up your rear to have learned of this feature? It’s notoriously unable to read context clues and correct typos appropriately.
NP. Why didn’t you proofread your own post?
Because this is the internet? WGAF

If someone else thinks it’s good there’s a certain type of person (common in DC) who will tell you how bad/over rated/not authentic it is because that’s a way to assert superiority. It’s like all the hipsters who hate something once other people like it. Silly.
Anonymous wrote:Has anyone said Del Mar? Crazy expensive and gets rave reviews. I thought it was fine, not a bad meal at all (except the paella was NOT good), but just did not live up to the hype.

I’m a PP and a YELP Elite. My Yelp review for Rasika is there from 1 months ago. My review was a 2.5. Horrible.
Anonymous wrote:The Dabney comments bum me out. We haven't been in a while (pre-pandemic), and always loved it. Maybe because we never went for the price-fixe menu, and could order a la carte.
