How do I tell my 30 year old neighbor to shovel his side of the street. He is 30 year old and he is very healthy but wont shovel what can we do?

I lived in Cambridge, Mass. where it snows frequently and in large amounts and people got out and shoveled. They didn't say "just wear the right shoes, who cares" they shoveled and put out sand and ice melt and helped each other (and frankly I needed the most help because the snow piles got high after a while and I am short). In any case, here in DC my neighbors shovel and help each other out if for some reason they can't get it done.

The houses that have not shoveled are all uniformly:
-Rental houses
-The very expensive flipped houses ($2.5M+) purchased by younger rich couples
Even the older neighbors salted their walks and hired people to shovel (or another neighbor shoveled as a favor).
Why do you care?
Is there truly no longer a sense of doing something because it’s the right thing to do anymore?
Just wear boots and stop demanding that your neighbors shovel snow.
NP. Nut up and take care of your property like an adult.
Your entitlement is showing. We don’t shovel because no sane person would care.
Dude, you’re squarely in the wrong here. You live in a society, act like it.
The laws in most of the USA say sidewalk shoveling is not needed.

Because those houses tend to be filled with anti-social P-R-I-C-K-S and C-U-N-T-S

Of course, many have snow blowers so it's not a big deal. And absolutely everyone clears the snow from the top of their cars. It's a big ticket in Canada if you drive with snow on the roof of your car. It'll cost you hundreds. That's dangerous for every other driver.
It's enlightening to read how many selfish, lazy, entitled, un-empathetic deadbeats live in the DMV.
To us, you are the entitled selfish one
Not at all. PP sounds like the normal, polite one and spot on with the entitled, selfish observance as evidenced by so many “why do you care about my sidewalk” posters. Absolutely no sense of community or common decency.

Where are packages delivered? Do you have a separate walkway to your front door that you do shovel? My neighbors don't shovel either, but it's the only access to their front door. I feel terrible for the delivery people.
I also have an AWD SUV and don’t shovel the driveway, except for a small walking path to my door.
I have several disc issues in my back, so my focus is on shoveling the minimum. I shovel the part of the sidewalk I’m required to, the driveway path, and make sure my front steps are clear.
Sounds like you should’ve taken better care of your back and stayed physically fit. Now you just do the minimum and we all have to suffer collectively.
Exactly. He probably doesn’t recycle, either.

Sounds like spoiled wiseass wants some practice removing a size-13 wingtip from his rectum.
Wingtip gave away your boomer status
Sounds like you want one too. I guess that’s why wingtips come in pairs.
