Same! It seems like her on-screen persona is always about being the most beautiful, thinnest, and best-dressed in the room. Which she already is. You never see her playing a homeless woman. The worst was Big Little Lies, where all the other characters were constantly telling her how beautiful she is.

Julia Roberts is another one who appears to be herself onscreen. A lot of overexposed A list actresses are the same. Think: Jen Aniston.
Disagree with Jen Aniston. No matter what, I always enjoy her movies.
Go watch Cake, exceptional performance.
Anonymous wrote:I actually think that was 90% the fault of George Lucas. Because Natalie Portman is a good actress IMO but her Padme was horrible. Even a good chunk of Ewan McGregor’s scenes were weird. I think they all gave what George asked for.Anonymous wrote:Hayden Christiansen is so hard to watch. It makes sense he isn’t really acting anymore. He’s terrible at it!
Anonymous wrote:Not Kevin Spacey. He’s such a ham. You can ALWAYS tell he’s acting!

Award nominations for Oppenheimer. Was she bidgy in that?

Did you see Mary Poppins? Hardly a b. Emily Blunt and Chris H can act. The rest of the list, not so much.
I’d add the Jessicas (Alba, Simpson (although not primarily an actress)) and Natalie Portman.
Oops, forgot Biel.
Anonymous wrote:Which actors/actresses do you think are overrated and get by on looks/nepotism/strategic BJs, but have no actual acting talent?
My list:
- Emma Watson
- Orlando Bloom (this guy in particular has the Squint Stare and nothing else)
- Chris Hemsworth
- Emily Blunt
- Amber Heard
There are probably a few more but I can't think of anything right now. Bad actors, you tend to forget their names.

Actually, the whole cast of Dawson’s Creek.

I saw 2 of his dramatic movies, and wanted my money back.
I heard the one with Tea Leonie was decent, but I haven’t taken the time to watch it
