Yes. If you look at death statistics, and switch the cause of death from Covid to the flu (which for some reason no one died from in 2020) and take into account the aging population of NYC, no more people died in 2020 than in previous bad flu seasons. It’s amazing what little marketing can do.

I am 45 and royally screwed up the first part of my adult life. I left a bad marriage at 37, and life has improved exponentially. So the only thing I would tell myself is to keep going-- the path you are on is the right one.

The exhaustion of the baby/toddler years will pass, and you will feel like a normal human again. Take care of your body and your spirit. You’re perfect just as you are; don’t sweat the small stuff.
