Eventually, the sad story about Jen went away when Brad and Angelina had one of the worst divorces in celebrity history. He is estranged from his kids, and it was revealed that the whole time with Jolie he was a hopeless drunk and drug addict. I definitely think that flipped her script and people were not saying poor Jen anymore. The story changed to wow she really dodged a bullet with that one and noticed Jen and Justin split in 2017 after that all came out.

Jen didn’t really want to raise a baby. And that’s okay. She just should have been honest about that.

She went through the misery of IVF, which suggests otherwise. The real issue is she wanted a bio baby in the context of marriage, and it didn't work out on either front.
